If you are an expat seeking to enrol your child into school, then your child may need additional home tuition to prepare them for the AEIS exam. I am well versed at priming international students for the AEIS Singapore centralised admission exercise to primary and secondary schools. I have developed a dedicated AEIS tuition program to help students succeed.
Looking for a dedicated home tutor to help prepare for AEIS?
Who is AEIS for?
Any international student between the age of 7 to 17 years keen to join Singapore’s mainstream primary and secondary schools must sit an AEIS exam conducted by the MOE. This applies to all international students seeking admission into Primary 2–5 and Secondary 1–3 levels in January of the following academic year.
What is AEIS?
It is a centralised test in both English and Mathematics where each child’s literacy, numeracy and reasoning abilities are assessed. The results of these exams provide a clear indication of which schools will best support your child’s future educational learning. The child is then offered places at the suitable schools, taking into account the availability of a place at that school and your declared address in Singapore.
How does home tuition help with AEIS exams?
The Singapore school’s system may be completely different to your child’s current education style and level and it is strongly advised that students are familiar with the English and Maths syllabus’ before applying. Home tuition is the most effective way to ensure you child is fully prepared for the AEIS exams. I will provide tailored tuition to your child and ensure that their individual needs are met in order to achieve success in the AEIS exams.
Please note that the AEIS tests take place around September or October each year for new international students wishing to join Primary and Secondary schools in January of the following year.
